I enjoyed the location of the New Madeira Seafront Hotel, right by the pier and main attractions, but was disappointed with the state of the rooms. The bed was comfortable, which helped, but the bathroom needed serious upgrades and felt quite dingy. The lack of amenities like breakfast included in the price made it feel less like a value stay. Overall, it's good for its location, but I wouldn't say it was worth the money.
Rooms
6.0
The room size was decent, but it was very dated and tired-looking. The bathroom felt small and needed renovation, plus the shower just trickled. The windows were really old, and I felt stuffy in the room.
Service
8.0
The staff were friendly and helpful, assisting me with my luggage when needed. They managed the place well and offered to hold my things while I explored Brighton, which I appreciated.
Location
8.0
The hotel’s location couldn't have been better, right across from the pier and close to shops and the beach. I loved the view of the pier lit up at night.
Dining
5.0
I found the dining options quite limited, especially with no breakfast included. It felt a bit overpriced for what was on offer, and I ended up skipping breakfast altogether.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel had basic facilities, but there was no lift which was a hassle with luggage. The ambiance in the bar area was lively, but it was pretty noisy at times.

My stay at the New Madeira Seafront Hotel had its ups and downs. The location right by the seafront was perfect for exploring Brighton, and my room on the third floor offered a lovely sea view. However, I faced some maintenance issues like the lift not working and a weak shower. Overall, it was a mixed experience, but I appreciated the staff's friendliness.
Rooms

My sea view room was clean and well-furnished, although the window needed some paper to stop it from banging due to the wind. Unfortunately, the lift was out of service, which was a hassle.
Service

The staff were generally helpful and friendly, addressing my concerns when I brought them up. They were apologetic regarding the lift situation and made efforts to assist.

Being right on the seafront made accessing the beach and local attractions easy, which I appreciated. It’s a convenient spot for anyone wanting to explore the area.
Dining

I enjoyed the breakfast, which was a decent start to my day. However, it didn't quite match the photos and expectations set by their marketing.
Facilities

While the common areas had a vibrant atmosphere, I felt the overall facilities needed a bit of updating. The weak shower and noise from the bar area detracted from the comfort.

My stay at the New Madeira Seafront Hotel was overall pleasant, enjoyable for its lively atmosphere and friendly staff, but the room I had could definitely use some improvements, especially with lighting and the bathroom space. The fantastic location made it easy to explore Brighton's attractions right by the beach, but the noise level might be bothersome for light sleepers on busy nights.
Rooms
6.0
The room was clean and well-presented, but the lighting was poor, making it tough to apply makeup in the evening. The bathroom felt cramped and could use updating. I appreciated having a fan, especially since it was a hot night, but a better setup is needed.
Service

The staff were lovely and very accommodating, providing a quick check-in, along with a fan and other necessities when asked. Their friendliness made for a warm atmosphere, which I really enjoyed.
Location

The location was perfect for my needs, right on the seafront and close to many restaurants and bars. I really liked the view of the beach and found it convenient to be so close to major attractions. Surprisingly, it wasn’t too noisy either, considering the nearby nightlife.
Dining

Breakfast was served in a cheerful bar area and while it was decent, it felt a bit small for the price. There could be better value for money elsewhere, but the experience of having breakfast onsite was still nice.
Facilities

The hotel had a lively bar and nightclub, which provided great entertainment options during my stay. I enjoyed this vibrant atmosphere, even if it meant some minor noise at night.

My recent stay at New Madeira Seafront Hotel was a mixed bag. While the location right by the seafront was fantastic and gave easy access to the beach, the room was a bit on the older side and didn't have the best view due to a construction site. I appreciated the cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff, but the overall experience left some room for improvement.
